As a Senior Marketing Consultant at STRAREX, you’ll be leading the charge on complex projects for our clients. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that push the envelope and exceed expectations. But that’s not all – while being hands-on involved in the execution of (digital) marketing campaigns, you’ll also be leading a team of talented individuals across multiple projects, ensuring that our work is of the highest quality and delivered on time and within budget.

So, what are we looking for? We’re seeking a marketing expert with a proven track record of success in leading complex projects and teams. Someone who is not afraid to get her or his hands dirty and who likes to get involved in the tactical execution of campaigns. You’ll need to have a strategic mindset and be able to think outside the box to address complex business challenges. You’ll also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members alike.
This isn’t your grandma’s marketing gig or a one-person show. We’re looking for a team player, a strategic mastermind who can execute and lead client projects like a boss while supporting overall marketing campaigns with precision. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our strategic data-driven marketing project, campaigns and the project team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of talented individuals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support as needed
- In this role you will be involved in the hands-on execution of (digital) marketing campaigns
- Lead the development and execution of complex marketing campaigns for clients, ensuring that deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to a high standard
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing strong relationships, and providing regular updates on project progress
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing plans and initiatives
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, and provide recommendations for optimization
- Support the development of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials
- Lead sprints together with sprint team (i.e.marketing consultant(s))
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to drive operational efficiency, and ensure implementation is done successfully (SMART).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on project management and team leadership
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with marketing analytics tools
- Proficiency of economics and business-orientation is developed and application is evident
- Have a highly structured, organized, and detailed way of working
- Able to give critical view and feedback in a constructive manner — can coach and train others
- Planning skills
- Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing (tracking & analytics, paid social advertising, SEA, SEO,…) required
- Languages (in all areas of literacy): Fluency (native) in NL, Proficient in EN, and FR is a bonus
